The roof restoration service is a multi-stage process, commencing with high pressure water cleaning to remove all dirt, grime & mould. This prepares the surface for the application of a sealer coat/primer, followed by the application of coloured roofing membrane/paint.

In some cases, a mould treatment is also required during the cleaning process.

Before the application of sealer/primer & membrane/paint it is recommended that all broken tiles be replaced; the ridge/hip caps be rebedded  repointed where required. It is not recommended to do this after the roof has been sealed &painted.

Roof Restoration Service

When is Roof Restoration Required?

Tile roof restoration is required when the sealer coats begins to deteriorate leaving the roof tiles porous & susceptible to water ingress.

Metal roof restoration is required either when the Colorbond, paint, Zincalume or galvanised top coating begins to deteriorate leaving the metal roof sheets susceptible to water damage and surface rust. If your metal roof is already rusted in places, you can treat the rust and restore it to prolong the life of the roof but it is more beneficial to prevent rust than to treat it.

This will help prolong the life of your roof and therefore defer the need for a costly roof replacement. It is highly recommended that any additional roof repairs that are required to prevent current &/or possible future roof leaks are carried out as part of the roof renovation.

Some clients simply choose to restore their roof for aesthetic purposes either for their own benefit or to potentially increase the re-sale value of their home. As you can imagine, a new looking roof is a great way to catch the eye of potential buyers and add value to your property.

What is the benefits of Roof Restoration?

Roof restoration is a clever way of repairing and prolonging the life of tile & metal roofs, as it can add value to your property  & improve the appearance of your roof, making it look almost new.

With an endless range of colours to choose from, the finished product really does give your house a well-deserved facelift.
